I am honored to be a very tiny part of the #pimpinjoy movement with these hats, and to have this be the first project on The Shop Forward. The best part of working on #pimpinjoy products is the conversations it starts and explaining to every person along the way the inspiring story behind #pimpinjoy and what it stands for.

My friend Amy's mom Judy fought cancer the past few years. She bravely adopted the motto of 'choosing joy' and prayed that God would bring some good out of her diagnosis. Spurred on by Amy, The Bobby Bones Show, and their incredible listeners, this evolved into the ongoing #pimpinjoy movement. By Judy finding joy even in her fight, she inspired a movement of others choosing to do the same. #Pimpinjoy is all about choosing joy in the face of adversity, supporting others going through tough times, and paying it forward by doing nice things for others. The video above featuring Judy is now emotional to watch but such an awesome visual of Judy and her inspiring joy!

I am just one of so many affected by Judy's contagious joy -- she has left a legacy by changing the world through her attitude, faith, and Christ-like example. #Pimpinjoy is special. The stories I have heard of Bobby Bones show listeners spreading joy, inspired by Judy, are wide reaching. They range from doing a favor for a friend, to buying the Starbucks customer behind them coffee, to a woman getting her tires paid for by a complete stranger with him saying he "heard about pimpinjoy on the radio."
